For sewing lovers only -
This is the first Christmas craft book that I ever got that did not specify it was a single subject project book. If you buy a "woodcarver's Christmas" you know what to expect. This book's "25 adorable projects" are all just variations on the same doll pattern. And its a particular type of pattern-small heads, long limbs, dots for eyes, no mouths. If I wanted to reproduce a specific style, like Mary Engelbreit (a favorite), I would look for that type of book. I'm very disappointed. Maybe it's my fault, maybe I should have known something about the author, but I am not familiar with this particular style, and it doesn't 'wow' me.

Excellent book -
I really love this book, is one of the best books I have bought, the author of the book is very creative, the ideas are very original and the items are just adorable. I really recommend this book it gives you great ideas to decorate different rooms with items that are also very useful.

Christmas Gifts -
I love the projects in this book but I was surprised to see that so many of them were toys or dolls. I think I would have liked a better range of projects - not just stuffies. On saying that there are some absolutely gorgeous projects, in particular I loved the gingerbread men that you can make as individual ornaments and garlands.
